As with any raw meat product, including that which is labeled as "human grade" , bacteria is present and careful handling is required. Do not use the same areas and/or utensils for handling raw meat as you use handling fresh or raw vegetables without first thoroughly disinfecting them. Always wash hands thoroughly after handling raw meats. Keep raw meats frozen until ready to thaw for use, and keep refrigerated for no more than 4 days after thawing. Canine Performance Fuels takes no liability for improperly maintained or handled raw products once they are in the possession of the customer.
